Terrestrials
Terrestrial flies mimic the appearance and behavior of insects that live on land, such as grasshoppers, crickets, ants, beetles, and more. These flies are very effective for catching fish that feed on these insects, especially when they fall or get blown into the water. Terrestrial flies can be fished as dry flies on the surface, or as wet flies slightly below the surface. They can also be used as attractor flies to draw attention from fish that are not actively feeding.
