Fly Tying Bead Hook Sizing Chart

A few customers asked me to include information on bead to hook sizing. I have made the following fly tying bead hook chart to assist.

Use the above chart as a guideline as it will vary with style of hook. Wider gape hooks, in general, will fit a larger size range for each bead size. Narrower gape hooks will fit a small range of sizes for each bead size. The following are hook styles I have tested for fit. I will be adding more styles in the future.
